About

Jigga what?
Design for Conversion is a highly interactive conference aiming to collectively (as one big family) deepen our knowledge of Persuasive Technology, Experience Design and Evidence Based Marketing, and how these disciplines can learn from each other. With heavy doses of design thinking, cognitive psychology and statistical knowledge we are very serious in taking up a worldwide conversion challenge.

Jigga who?
We actively invite database marketers, e-commerce managers, interaction designers, marketers, information architects, copy writers, usability engineers and business intelligence experts to join our conference.

More in general we are looking for people that are not afraid of making mistakes and putting themselves out there by contributing their ideas to the discussion. We realize conversion is a immensely complex subject that needs to be studied and  put to test much much more. So come on, join us, it will be fun!

Jigga why?
We believe conversion is not a subject that you can take lightly. Persuading people to change their behavior (done subliminally or not) comes with lots of ethical issues. Next to that we want to use these conversion strategies to help make this world a better place (be it initiatives that are trying to bring about peace, more sustainable behavior or prosocial behavior in general).

Design of the original DfC logo is by Yun Chen.

Next to that there are a lot of intelligent people helping us out with the organisation: Peter Boersma, Lotte Zwijnenburg, Tanja de Bie, Iskander Smit, Bart Clement, Ruben Timmerman, Stefan Wobben, Bram Alkema and of course the DfC dog.
